Born in Rome, Italy, in 1982, Daniel Dee immersed himself in the electronic music scene at just 15 years old. His career ignited behind the decks of NRG in Ciampino, a renowned Roman club where he was heavily influenced by the trance-progressive sound that dominated the city’s nightlife at the time.

Rising Through the Ranks

After a breakout first year of performing, Daniel’s undeniable talent earned him the coveted resident DJ spot at NRG. He quickly became a central figure in what was widely considered Italy’s premier Sunday clubbing event. By 1998, his reach expanded to the airwaves as a regular fixture on Mondo Radio’s “Future Zone.” Broadcasting every Sunday, it was recognized as the leading progressive house radio show in central Italy.

Studio Evolution & Production

As his musical knowledge deepened and expanded, Daniel’s sound evolved toward techno and progressive house. Stepping into the studio, he began producing original tracks that caught the attention of the industry. This led to successful releases across various esteemed labels, most notably the historic Bonzai Records. Throughout this era, he continued to hone his craft, balancing studio time with high-profile club performances alongside some of Italy’s top DJs.

Current & Future Projects

Never one to stop innovating, Daniel Dee continues to push creative boundaries within the modern circuit. Most recently, he has spearheaded original, forward-thinking projects such as “The Club” and “Khoema,” bringing fresh, innovative concepts to the vibrant Roman club scene.
