The Waking

Marula Music welcomes Profetik as the label’s second new signing of 2026. Following his collaboration with Protoculture on “Ultramarine” for Armada Music, he arrives with “The Waking”, a dark melodic techno cut featuring the sultry spoken word of vocalist Roniit.

Eastern motifs wind through the arrangement, evoking vast desert landscapes, while Roniit’s delivery pulls the listener deeper into the track’s gravity. As the production builds, rave-edged leads cut through the haze, pushing the mood from introspective drift into full dancefloor momentum. Dark, moody, and unapologetically cinematic.
