Profetik makes his Marula Music debut with “The Waking”, a dark melodic techno single featuring vocalist Roniit. Out now exclusively on Beatport, with a wide release across all platforms on 8 May 2026.

Eastern string motifs establish the atmosphere before the low-end settles in, and Roniit’s spoken word enters close-miked and deliberate, pulling the listener into the track’s gravity before the structure has fully revealed itself. Profetik is the production alias of Brian Anderson. His recent output includes a collaboration with Protoculture on “Ultramarine” for Armada Music. “The Waking” is his first release on Marula Music, the label’s second new signing of 2026 following Daniel Dee.
