true:levels

true:level is sonible’s dedicated loudness and dynamics metering plugin. It tracks integrated loudness (LUFS), loudness range (LU), dynamics, and true peak simultaneously, and displays them against a visual target field that makes it immediately obvious where your track sits relative to your chosen reference. You can pull from a set of built-in streaming platform standards and genre-appropriate dynamics targets, or load up to eight of your own reference tracks for comparison.

The Level Check feature is what makes it genuinely useful on a session: after analysis it gives you specific, actionable text feedback on what needs to change to hit your target spec. Loudness and dynamics histograms give you a read on the entire track’s distribution over time rather than just the current moment, which is helpful when you’re chasing a final number before delivery. It comes out of the same metering engine that sits inside smart:limit, so if you already use that on your master bus, true:level slots in naturally as a track-level and mix-bus companion.
