true:balance
true:balance is a spectral analysis and metering plugin designed to tell you whether the frequency distribution of your mix is in the right ballpark. The main display shows both the real-time spectrum and the averaged spectrum over time, overlaid against a reference curve. You can choose from a set of genre-based references or load up to eight of your own tracks, then use the Balance Check to get text-based guidance on what’s over- or under-represented in your mix relative to that target.
On top of spectral balance, the plugin covers mono compatibility with a Mono Check that flags potential phase problems, and it includes a channel data section showing stereo width and correlation values. It’s a focused tool that does one job well: giving you an objective read on spectral balance and mono compatibility when your ears have been on a session too long to trust them. It pairs naturally with true:level if you want full loudness and spectral metering in one setup.
Great way to make sure your mix is on track.
