Cenozoix

Cenozoix is a multi-style compressor from Three Body Technology with 24 compression characters to choose from: 12 modelled on classic analog hardware and 12 original TBT designs, several of which are built with specific source types in mind. Each style has its own set of adjustable parameters beyond the standard attack, release, threshold, and ratio controls, so the depth of control changes depending on which flavour you’re working with. The Peak Crest function dynamically adjusts release time based on the transient content of the incoming signal, which helps the compressor respond naturally to material that shifts between peaks and sustained energy.

On the technical side, Cenozoix is the first compressor plugin to implement ADAA (Anti-Derivative Antialiasing). Rather than leaning entirely on oversampling to suppress aliasing from the rectification circuits, ADAA handles it mathematically with a much lower CPU cost. It switches automatically to conventional oversampling during attack and release stages where ADAA is less effective, and manual oversampling up to 16x is available if you want it. The breadth of styles and the depth of available controls make it genuinely versatile across tracking, mixing, and mastering contexts.
