ShaperBox 3

ShaperBox 3 is a multi-effect plugin built entirely around drawn LFO curves. Each of its six effect modules — VolumeShaper, FilterShaper, PanShaper, TimeShaper, WaveShaper, and CrushShaper — is controlled by a freely drawable curve that repeats at a synced rate. VolumeShaper handles rhythmic gating and sidechain-style pumping, FilterShaper drives cutoff through custom filter contours, PanShaper creates stereo motion, TimeShaper handles tape-stop and pitch-warp effects, WaveShaper applies waveshaping distortion over time, and CrushShaper does time-varying bit and sample rate reduction. Up to six modules can be stacked inside a single ShaperBox instance and processed as a chain.

The strength of ShaperBox is precision and repeatability. Because every modulation movement is drawn rather than recorded, you get exactly the pattern you want at exactly the sync rate you specify. Version 3 added multi-band capabilities (so you can apply different shaping curves to separate frequency bands within one module), a new LFO editor with richer curve tools, and expanded preset library. It runs as VST3, AU, and AAX on Windows and macOS.
