Newfangled Audio Elevate Bundle

The Elevate Bundle from Newfangled Audio (an Eventide company) consists of two plugins: Elevate, a multiband limiter and loudness maximizer, and EQuivocate, a 26-band matching EQ built on the same perceptually-weighted filter bank. Elevate’s core technology is a 26-band transient-aware limiter where each band has its own adaptive release, and a global transient shaper controls how much transient information survives across all bands simultaneously. The per-band approach allows significant loudness without the intermodulation artifacts that arise from wideband limiting, so low-frequency energy no longer pumps the high-frequency content.

EQuivocate uses the same 26 perceptual frequency bands as Elevate, spaced according to how the auditory system processes frequency rather than in linear or logarithmic increments. It includes a spectrum matching function that analyzes a reference track and attempts to match the frequency balance of the target. The two plugins are designed to work together at the end of a mastering chain, with EQuivocate handling tonal balance before Elevate applies final loudness maximization.
