ValhallaDelay

Valhalla Delay is a delay plugin that covers 12 delay modes derived from tape, bucket brigade, and digital hardware designs, along with entirely original algorithms. The mode list runs from clean stereo and ping-pong delays through tape-style flutter and saturation (Ghost and Eternity modes), to HiFi and Pitch modes for pitch-shifting repeats and lush widening effects. Each mode has a distinct character, and the plugin doesn’t try to unify them into a single interface metaphor — the parameters that are relevant to each mode are shown, and irrelevant ones are hidden.

All 12 modes support tempo sync down to 1/128th notes, with options for straight, dotted, and triplet values. The analog feedback path includes a built-in filter and saturation stage, and the modulation section controls depth and rate independently per mode. Valhalla Delay runs as VST, AU, and AAX on Windows and macOS with a low CPU footprint, making it practical to use on multiple sends and insert slots simultaneously.
