AstroLab 37

AstroLab 37

The AstroLab 37 is a standalone stage keyboard that runs Arturia’s instrument library onboard without a laptop. The sound engine covers 11 synthesis types including virtual analog, FM, wavetable, granular, physical modelling, vector synthesis, phase distortion, harmonic, and Karplus synthesis, giving access to 44 instruments and over 1,800 presets out of the box. The library maps directly to Arturia’s V Collection catalogue, and owners receive upgrade offers to expand that to over 10,000 sounds. Everything runs standalone at low latency with no boot-up session required.

The 37-key slim synth-action keybed includes aftertouch, four macro controls (Brightness, Timbre, Time, Movement), a 400px colour screen, arpeggiator, chord and scale modes, and a built-in vocoder with a balanced mono mic/line input. Connectivity covers MIDI DIN in/out, USB-C, USB-A host, balanced stereo outputs, headphone out, pedal input, Bluetooth audio, and Wi-Fi for the AstroLab Connect companion app. Compared to the 61 and 88-key models, the 37 omits keyboard split and multi-instrument mode, the MIDI looper, and additional pedal inputs in exchange for a significantly smaller footprint at 515 x 214 mm and under 2 kg.
