Neutron 5 Advanced

Neutron 5 is iZotope’s channel strip and mixing suite, structured as a mothership plugin with 10 component modules that can also run independently in your DAW. The module set covers the full mixing toolkit: a multiband EQ with dynamic filter behavior, compressor with Punch mode, transient shaper, exciter with Trash distortion mode, gate, sculptor for spectral shaping, and the Unmask tool for reducing frequency masking between tracks. Version 5 adds three new modules: Density (upward compression for adding transparent weight), a multiband Clipper, and Phase (for correcting asymmetrical waveforms and phase issues).

The Mix Assistant analyzes your session and suggests gain staging and panning for each track, while the Visual Mixer and Relay give you a multi-track overview directly inside Neutron’s interface. The Advanced tier includes all modules and the full surround workflow with 7.1 support, plus zero-latency mode across all processors for tracking sessions where CPU headroom and timing are priorities. Runs as VST3, AU, and AAX on Mac and Windows.
