UVI Bloom
Bloom is an algorithmic reverb from UVI built on a custom diffusion architecture inspired by the hardware reverb units of the 1980s and 1990s. Its centrepiece is the Rise control, a parameter that governs how quickly the reverb tail develops into its full density. Rather than using an envelope or modulation to achieve this effect, Rise works by offsetting multiple reverb engines against each other, creating a natural sense of bloom and movement while simultaneously softening transients without gating artefacts.
Three operating modes (Single, Parallel, Serial) offer distinct spatial textures, and the plugin includes controls for diffusion, width, tone, and modulation alongside a freeze function. Two hundred factory presets are included, with built-in randomisation, mutation, and preset morphing tools accessible directly from the interface. Bloom ships in VST3, AU, and AAX formats for macOS and Windows.
