VCV Rack 2 Pro

VCV Rack 2 Pro is a software modular synthesizer that emulates the Eurorack hardware format. The environment is built around virtual patch cables: every module has inputs and outputs that can be connected in any combination, and the signal flow is entirely determined by how you route them. The Pro version includes all core modules, the full module library, and a plugin format that lets VCV Rack run as a VST3 or AU inside a DAW (as opposed to the free standalone version). As a plugin, it receives MIDI and sends audio back to the host, so you can integrate it into a standard session workflow.

The module library covers thousands of virtual Eurorack modules, including officially licensed emulations of hardware modules from Mutable Instruments, Make Noise, Intellijel, and others, as well as original designs. You can build anything from a standard subtractive voice to generative sequencing systems, physical modeling instruments, or custom effect chains. VCV Rack 2 Pro runs on Windows and macOS, with the plugin format supporting any VST3 or AU host.
