smart:limit is sonible’s content-aware true peak limiter. The core idea is straightforward: you feed it a section of your audio, it analyses the signal, and within a few seconds it suggests a set of limiting parameters that should work for your material. You can steer that analysis with a genre profile or load a reference track if you want to target a specific loudness style. From there, four macro controls let you adjust the character: Style (soft to hard), Saturation, Bass Control, and Balance for spectral shaping.

The loudness monitoring section is comprehensive, covering LUFS integrated, loudness range, dynamics, and true peak, all displayed against streaming platform targets. The Instant Impact Prediction feature shows you how loudness changes will affect the readouts in real time without needing to replay the whole track from the top, which saves a lot of time when you’re dialling in a final master.
